Veritas Legal advised Tej Lalvani, CEO of Vitabiotics and a selling shareholder, on multiple Indian law matters arising in connection with the sale of Vitabiotics to Bain Capital.

The transaction team was led by Kunal Doshi (Senior Partner), Sneha Nagvekar (Partner), with support from Shaagun Sharrma (Associate).

Vitabiotics is a leading British nutraceutical company founded in 1971 by Professor Kartar Lalvani, which has pioneered advances in nutritional healthcare for 55 years, with a portfolio that includes supplement brands such as Perfectil, Pregnacare, Wellman, Wellwoman and Menopace.

Bain Capital will leverage its local market expertise in India, along with sector knowledge, portfolio assets, and global capabilities, to assist Vitabiotics in expanding its brands, enhancing its international presence, and investing in sustainable growth across important markets like MENA and China.
